Easy, fast, efficient. Needed to consolidate high interest credit card rates which were completely out of hand. AGAVE gave me a great rate and a low monthly payment that is more than manageable. Wonderful people … I came down with a deadly Flu during the refinance process, and the AGAVE folks helped me considerably to complete the process in a timely manner so I did not lose my interest rate. If I could leave less than a one-star review, I would. For over a year, I have been on and off the phone with this company about my address change, and now I have a delinquent tax bill because they just now decided to tell me that they need a copy of the affidavit and the bill to open yet another case to update the address in their system. I'm paying $300 more a month on my mortgage to cover the property taxes for the whole year, and yet there's still a delinquent bill. Do not use this mortgage company.

I just received an unsolicited phone call from Agave Home Loans. Martin said he was with Agave, left out the home loans part to hide that he is a lender, and told me he was a partner of the credit bureaus which is not true. This company buys trigger leads from the credit bureaus which if anyone has had their credit pulled then their phone blows up with calls this is why. This is a slimy business practice and should be illegal. If you like working with shady people this is your company.

I have been through quite a few refi's. My experience with Agave Homes has been a very pleasant experience. From the moment I was contacted by Agave to the final closing. My agent was Dylan Williams who was professional and knowledgeable in the whole process. What I appreciated the most it wasn't necessary for me to contact Dylan for updates. He kept me posted. He contacted me with updates as they occurred. That was a very satisfying. I wouldn't hesitate giving my recommendation to anyone seeking a refi.

Jack Puentes worked with me from day one and throughout my entire process of acquiring a 1st mortgage. He was never pushy and was happy to discuss different loans, cash out vs LOC equity in order to make sure I acquired the maximum cash and best pricing. I appreciated his honesty, full disclosure, and availability even at odd hours or weekends. After Jack put my initial packet of information together, he then handed it off for final processing to Thomas King who was also very good but continuing to have Jack in the loop from beginning to end was comforting. Customer service was top-notch and Jack even asked after my closing if there was anything he or Agave could have done better, which was refreshing and the fact that they care is probably why they are good. I researched 5 different companies and had 3 solid offers before choosing Agave and I am glad I did! Thank you!!

I just refinanced with Agave Home Loans, and the process was so easy! I'll admit I'm slightly biased -- I'm married to a co-owner -- but he asked for "blunt and honest feedback." Alex and Doug were awesome! I spent less than 20 minutes from start to finish. The notary canceled on us morning of, but the team worked to find someone to fill in that same day. I talked to Sam and went over all our documents with him and he pre approved us for a loan. When we signed a contract two weeks later for a condo he then told us since I was unemployed that we couldn’t use my income and we weren’t going to be able to get the loan. Even though when I first talked to him I told him I was retired but drive for Uber and Lyft for extra money . But I told him I’m not driving now because I’m making more on unemployment and don’t have to put myself at risk driving people around the area . I asked him why you didn’t tell us this two weeks ago when he pre approved us and we sent him pages of documentation. I told him I understand if you can’t get a loan when your unemployed but why did he string us along for 2 weeks. He had no idea about the unemployment situation in the US and that unemployment was at 15 percent nationwide. I was totally flabbergasted and sounds like he didn’t know about Covid 19 either. There co owner paul called me to apologize but at that point he couldn’t do anything. We called another mortgage company and an hour later we had a mortgage without using my info. We just used my wife’s documents and they put me on title
